MediaScribe Presets
Presets let you create predefined settings for different meeting types. Each preset includes five tabs: Basic Info, Languages, Input, Outputs, and Vocabulary, allowing grouped configurations. Use presets to easily switch between settings for public versus internal meetings and maintain consistency.

Managing Presets
On the Presets screen, you can:
Create a new preset: Select the + New Preset button to add a new preset.
Delete an existing preset: Select the Delete button to remove a preset.
Edit an existing preset: Select the preset name to modify its settings.
Note: There is always a default preset that cannot be deleted.
When creating or editing a preset, you are taken to a separate screen for configuration.

Preset Tabs
Each preset contains six tabs for configuring different settings.
Basic Info
Name: Enter a descriptive name for the preset.
Recording Name Template: Define the naming format for the recording file that will be created.
Languages
Source Language: Select the primary language being live captioned.
Transcription Options:
Mask Profanities: Replace profane words with asterisks (***) in the transcript.
Remove Disfluencies: Remove verbal disfluencies like "umm" and "uhh" from the transcript.
Translations: Choose one or more languages for live translation. Drag to reorder or use the arrow buttons to set priority.
Closed Caption Languages:
Primary Language: Select the primary language for closed captions.
Secondary Language: Optionally select an additional language for closed captions.
Speaker Change Behavior: Choose how speaker changes are indicated in the transcript.
Input
Configure the audio input source for this preset.
Outputs
Each output contains a dropdown menu to select from the following options:
Closed Captions: Displays captions that viewers can toggle on/off.
Language 1: Select the primary closed caption language.
Language 2: (Optional) Select an additional closed caption language.
Open Captions: Displays captions that are always visible.
Language: Choose the language for open captions.
In-Room Display:
Template: Select the display template for in-room captioning.
Language: Choose the language for in-room display captions.
Vocabulary
Customize how specific words are recognized and captioned. Select the plus (+) icon to add multiple entries.
Content: Enter the word or phrase to be recognized (e.g., gnocchi).
Sounds Like: Provide a phonetic spelling to improve accuracy (e.g., nyokhi).
Changing Presets
You can switch presets from any screen by selecting a different preset in the header dropdown menu.
